1. The Warm Glass Studio
offers a broad selection of classes, for all levels of student, from beginner to
advanced. If you don't see a course you want, then email us and ask -- we
can even customize courses if you wish.

listing.
2. Our classes are small.
With only a few exceptions they're limited to eight persons maximum, and many of our classes have as few as
three or four students. Smaller classes allow for more individual
attention and provide for a better learning environment.
3. There are no
hidden costs. Our fees include all materials and supplies
required. You won't be asked to spend extra money on supplies or
glass. We'll even loan you glass working tools if you don't have
any of your own.
4. Our facility is
first-rate. In addition to plenty of elbow room and space for your
projects, we have have over half a dozen kilns available for use during our
classes. We also make available basic glass-working equipment such as
grinders and tabletop strip and circle cutters. We also have more
specialized equipment available as needed, including a tile saw, a glass saw, a
wet belt sander, a lap wheel, and a sandblasting cabinet.
5. Our teachers are
experienced glass artists with a talent for teaching. We do have
occasional guest artists, but most classes are
taught by Jody and/or Brad Walker, owners of the studio. Jody is a
practicing artist whose works are in national and international collections.
Her artwork can be seen at
www.warmglass.com/jody.
Brad is founder of the
Warm Glass website, the internet's
largest website dedicated to kiln-forming. Brad is also author
of Contemporary Warm Glass: A Guide to Fusing, Slumping,
and Related Kiln-Forming Techniques. We also feature guest
instructors from time to time.
6. We're close to three
major interstates and only thirty miles from the Greensboro airport. Our
students come from as far away as Canada, Michigan, and Florida, and as close as
North Carolina. There are also around a dozen hotels and dozens of
restaurants within ten minutes drive of our facility.

7. Although you won't need
to buy extra supplies or glass to take our classes, you're always free to take
advantage of our retail shop. All glass and supply purchases made during
your class earn a 10% discount.
8. Once you've taken one of
our classes, you're eligible for to use our studio and kilns during open studio
