Beyond Two
Layers (Working Deep)
Jody and Brad Walker
Intermediate Level
Three days
Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
July 20 through July 22
from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm |

Kiln-forming Techniques
(The Project Course)
Brad and Jody Walker
Intermediate Level
Four days |
August 4 through August 7
from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm each day |
| At last! Here's a hands-on
workshop that's oriented to learning new techniques,
expanding old ones, and completing a myriad of
kiln-forming projects. Numerous glass processes will be
demonstrated and discussed, including making and using
pattern bars, glass combing, open face casting, using
stringers, powders, enamels, and more. We'll
explore the kiln-forming process from initial concept to
final piece, and will cover cold-working, hanging, and
related finishing techniques.
Plan on an
action-packed, hands-on class with plenty of
opportunities to create both finished work and
components for use in future projects. All
materials will be included, but previous experience with
basic kiln processes is required. Limited class
size to allow for more personal instruction.
